AdTrace does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any other form of telemetry to monitor your behavior.
All blocking logic, request tracing, and rule attribution happen locally within your browser. AdTrace does not send your browsing history or request logs to any remote server.
Your custom rules, whitelist domains, and extension settings are stored locally using the chrome.storage.local API. This data remains on your machine and is not synced to any cloud service unless you explicitly use browser-level sync features.
We do not track extension installs, uninstalls, or usage patterns. We have no way of knowing who is using AdTrace or which websites they are visiting.
AdTrace is open source. Our code is available for public audit to ensure that it operates exactly as described in this policy.
For transparency and community involvement, we maintain our source code and issue tracking on GitHub. You can visit the AdTrace repository to audit the code or contribute to the project.
